Sadako - Concept Art

One of the "Ring" manga, "The Curse of Yamamura Sadako", caught my attention today. As much as I like the story, the art just makes me cringe. It's typical creepy, unattractive Japanese manga, but I thought it might be fun to do a remake considering that the manga itself is extremely short (12 pages including cover). So this is concept art as I'm figuring out a style. The image features both innocent and evil versions of Sadako.
